This 15,5 foot (4,75m) vintage looking Jericho Bay Lobster Skiff is designed by Joel White and is based on typical American lobster boat look. She has flat planing sections, slightly concave bottom and tumblehome worked into the hull aft. She is essentially an open boat with small bow decking and bench seating, however, she could be fitted out in a number of ways.

Because of it’s near midship console, she jumps on plane and levels off fast. Her high, full, and flared bow makes for a surprisingly dry ride to windward in a chop. Running downwind, her gentle stem curve, moderate deadrise, and round bilges make her forgiving and steady, without sudden jerks or rooting.

She has one spacious dry compartment for anchor, ropes and camping gear at the bow and two at the aft to accommodate battery and automatic bilge pump. The boat is equipped with three watertight floating sections.

She has 360 degree white led light, electric horn, tachometer, compass, 3,5 kg stainless steel bruce-style anchor with 40 m rope, two 10 m mooring ropes, 25 m throwing life rope, two fenders with textile covers, custom made boat cover and engine cover for transporting, bench seat cushions, flagpole, 1,8 m telescopic boat hook, 25 l gas tank and several USB / 12v sockets. 4-stroke Suzuki 30 hp outboard (DF30 ATS) is one of the lightest and most quiet in it’s class. The skiff comes with fully galvanized new boat trailer. Boat category D.

Boat’s hull is made of western red cedar timber and both sides are covered with several layers of transparent glass fibre cloth. Cockpit interior is made of sapele mahogany combined with varnished and oiled trim. Only marine grade stainless steel fittings are used. All varnished wood surfaces have been pretreated with epoxy.

Maximum speed 23 knots, cruising speed 14-18 knots.

The boat is new (2022) and the outboard has 15 engine hours used for testing and engine break in.
